* Citigroup Inc.’s Citibank agreed to buy the credit card business of Mellon Bank Corp. for undisclosed terms, restoring its position as the nation’s largest credit card issuer. Citibank, which recently switched its allegiance to MasterCard from Visa, will take control of Mellon’s 800,000 accounts with about $1.9 billion in balances. Citibank will get to market credit cards under the Mellon and Dreyfus mutual fund names as part of the agreement.
