Corky’s, voted the best barbecue in Memphis for 13 consecutive years, turns out moist, tender, richly flavored barbecue the old-fashioned way. It cooks its pork shoulders 22 hours and then pulls the meat by hand. And it will ship frozen barbecue by Fed Ex for second-day delivery.

The basic packages run from the simple Taste of Corky’s (full slab of ribs and one pound of shoulder plus dry seasoning and a bottle of barbecue sauce), which serves five or six, to the Memphis Throw-Down (10 slabs, five pints of beans and three fudge or pecan pies plus seasoning and sauce), serving 20.
