Jaywalking Near Schools a Problem

Your March 21 editorial “Parents Key to Jaywalking Fight” is right on the mark. I am appalled at the number of parents jaywalking with their kids to access local schools.

Parents often send them across the street amid the cars --without even accompanying them.

It would make sense to start the anti-jaywalking campaign by stationing police officers at these schools, where parents daily teach their children the deadly art of jaywalking.
