Prosecutors are reviewing a videotape from a New York nightclub that shows a New Jersey man physically abusing a Monterey Park woman after she danced with other men only hours before she was stabbed to death.

Kevin Lee, 32, a Jersey City computer programmer, has been charged in the slaying of Elaine S. Carrillo, whom he met over the Internet. He is being held in lieu of $350,000 bail.

The naked body of the 31-year-old mother of two was found last Tuesday in an isolated part of Jersey City’s Library State Park along the Hudson River opposite Manhattan, authorities said.

Terrence Hull, first assistant prosecutor for Hudson County, said his office is reviewing a videotape of an incident inside the club as evidence in the case.

Lee and Carrillo had developed a relationship via e-mail. Carrillo, who also worked in the computer industry, had flown to New Jersey to visit Lee for the weekend.
