O.C. EARNINGS

BYL Bancorp: The Orange holding company for the BYL Bank Group reported first-quarter net income of $459,000, or 18 cents a share, down 40% from the $761,000, or 29 cents a share, posted for the first quarter of 1998. Total assets grew 33% to $338.8 million.
