Lockheed Martin and its tactical defense systems unit were sued by U.S.-based representatives of a Canadian rival, MacDonald Detwiller, who claim the Lockheed unit bribed the South Korean government to win a contract in 1996 to build aircraft radar systems valued at $200 million. “We view the allegations as false, outrageous, we categorically deny them, and we intend to vigorously defend ourselves,” a spokesman for Lockheed Martin said of the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
