Take my Aura Please

Now that mall-goers in Japan and Brazil are shelling out $20 a pop to glimpse their auras on his aura-videotaping computers, Johannes Fisslinger hopes to conquer the malls of L.A. His “Aura Video Station,” which sells for $7,500 to $12,000 at his Marina del Rey company, Inneractive, consists of a biofeedback glove attached to a computer that he says will translate electrical output from a person’s hand into on-screen colors. The result is something of a souped-up mood ring: red indicates gregariousness and a predilection for sales; blue, creativity, though when tinged with violet, oversensitivity; brown, possible drug addiction and writer’s block. Can blues ever turn red? Not really, says Fisslinger. Baseline colors don’t change, stress levels do. He recommends eating right, meditating and exercising. Or marry a person whose color you covet. Says Fisslinger, an orange (analytic, cerebral) until he married a green (centered, balanced): “Now, there’s green all over my aura.”
