From Times Wire Reports

One of the last members of the former Red Army Faction urban guerrilla group still at large has turned herself in to German authorities, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office said. Barbara Meyer, 42, who is accused of attempted murder and armed robbery stemming from RAF attacks in 1985, was detained at Frankfurt Airport on Saturday. The prosecutor’s office said she had been living in Lebanon. The prosecutor’s office said Meyer was involved in an RAF attack on a supermarket employee in June 1985 in which members allegedly shot and robbed him. It added that Meyer had also participated in a failed RAF attempt to steal explosives from a quarry bunker. She is being detained pending trial.
