Our youth are desperate for more time with parents and adults. We urgently need to reduce the standard 40-hour work week. We need to eliminate tax incentives for employers to employ fewer people working longer days. We need incentives for shorter days and more vacation. Is there any other way to create time for parents to spend with their children?

To all the parents concerned with TV’s violent content: Research regarding violent content on television, surprisingly, states that the ratio of murders per minute on TV has remained the same for the last three decades. However, something else has increased: the time devoted to TV viewing.

Maybe it is about time to get up from the couch and start enjoying the various activities life offers, instead of blaming the media industry for the violence occurring in real life. By the way, make sure to bring your kids along!
