The U.S. women’s water polo team kept its Olympic qualification hopes alive with a 9-7 victory over Greece in Winnipeg. The U.S. will play Canada today for a berth in the 2000 Olympics. Maureen O’Toole of Long Beach scored three goals, Julie Swail of Placentia scored a third-quarter goal to give the U.S. the lead for good, 7-6, and goalie Jackie Frank of Seal Beach had three saves.
