Re “A Hair’s Difference and More,” Ventura County editorials, May 23.

I assume that what you find “weird” and “loco” is Jeff “Skunk” Baxter running for Congress as a Republican.

For me, the weirdness was seeing Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Sherman Oaks) standing on the lawn of the White House at the infamous post-impeachment pep rally. His blind support for our felonious President Bill “the Mad Bomber” Clinton sealed his electoral fate for many of us.

As for Jeff Baxter, go for it, Skunk. It’s past time to take out the trash in the 24th District.
