Murphy Made Region Manager at Fieldstone

* Andrew Murphy has been appointed San Diego regional manager for Fieldstone Communities Inc. in Newport Beach. He had been assistant regional manager. Murphy succeeds Jim Hansen, who was named senior vice president for Fieldstone.

* Karl Deshayes has joined the board of directors of the South Coast Apartment Assn. He is vice president of Fairfield Properties L.P.

* Marian Abe is the new association sales manager at the Doubletree Hotel in Costa Mesa. She was formerly a sales manager at the West Coast Anaheim Hotel. Before that, Abe was a senior sales manager at Prince Resorts, a regional sales manager at Royal Resorts and a sales manager at Aston Hotels, all in Honolulu.
