Our Little Boys

Thank you for “Little Boys Lost” (Oct. 13), especially for Michael Gurion’s quote: “Where are the churches and synagogues in our little boys’ lives? Why aren’t our kids more involved in spiritual and religious life, rather than . . . hours of video games every day?”

The fact that our popular culture encourages gender confusion and that there are physiological differences between boys and girls has been preached for decades by such mean-spirited, small-minded, narrow, wrongheaded and bigoted groups as churches, conservatives and Focus on the Family. I wonder what else these groups have been saying that is also true. GARY LOWE
