Chapman Falls In Soccer Playoffs

Randy Snow’s goal in the 63rd minute gave Claremont a 2-1 victory over Chapman in the first round of the NCAA Division III West Regional men’s soccer playoffs Wednesday at Claremont.

Snow scored off Peter McGovern’s free kick for the winning goal.

After falling behind early, Chapman tied the score on Scott Martino’s unassisted goal in the 20th minute.

Chapman ended the season at 15-4-1. Claremont is 17-3-1.
