Evolution Disclaimer

Re “Evolution Disclaimer Added to Textbooks,” Nov. 11: The Oklahoma textbook disclaimer states, “No one was present when life first appeared on Earth. Therefore, any statement about life’s origins should be considered as theory, not fact.” Does that mean that DNA is also a theory since no one was present when it first appeared? Neurons? Plasma? The mind boggles at how little we know based on the fact that we weren’t there!
