Kent Rosenblum, Rosenblum Cellars

“I had a real nice Sangiovese, a ’97 Dashe Cellars ‘Dry Creek.’ It was kind of rich and full of strawberry jammy qualities. Some Sangioveses tend to be lighter-bodied, but this had real nice structure and a velvety mouth-feel. I had it with barbecued chicken. It certainly would lend itself to a lunch type of meal or sitting on the patio with barbecue on a pleasant day.”
