Innovative behind-the-scenes hip-hop producers Prince Paul and Dan the Automator unite for this tongue-in-cheek skewering of the genre’s narcissism. Such disparate guests as Sean Lennon and phenomenal underground rapper Del give the 16-cut album an eclectic vibe, but its humor is its strongest asset. It’s like a new age De La Soul without as much rapping.
