LAGUNA NIGUEL

Learn to skate and, more important, stop, in the city-sponsored in-line skating class beginning Sunday.

The four-week class will meet Sundays in front of the Sports Chalet at the Market Place shopping center. The classes are $70 and open to Laguna Niguel residents age 14 and older.

Students are welcome to bring and use their own skates and safety equipment or borrow equipment at no additional cost.

The class is from 9 to 11 a.m. Sundays at the Market Place on Alicia Parkway and Pacific Park Drive. Information: (949) 425-5100.
