* I have a few choice words about “Detroit Updates Its Economic Models Amid Boom” [Sept. 19]: “Get real” and “Join the real world.”

The story states, “The increasingly competitive environment is a consumer’s delight. Prices are the most affordable in two decades, even as the Internet puts savvy buyers in control of the buying process.”

Prices definitely are not the most affordable in two decades.
