Parks Along River

I agree completely with your editorial, “Parks Needed Along River,” Oct. 3.

No one invited me to attend the meeting with Councilman Mike Feuer or take a tour of areas developed along the river. I wholeheartedly support the plan to make the river edge inviting and usable. We live around the corner from Studio City park and have enjoyed walking throughout our neighborhood for over 20 years. Walking over the bridge at the Los Angeles River always seems a treat (especially to the kids), and I would love to see more people use and enjoy the little open space we have left.
