Army May Revamp School for Soldiers

The Army has begun a review that could lead to changes at its soldier training school at Ft. Benning, Ga., long criticized for human rights abuses committed in Latin America by some graduates. Senior Army officials said options under consideration include moving the School of the Americas from Ft. Benning, near Columbus, Ga., changing its name, reconfiguring the mix of students or altering course content.
