Jim Brown

* Re “Judge Targets Men, Brown Motion Says,” Oct. 22: I had to laugh out loud when I read the article about Jim Brown’s motion to overturn his conviction, based on the fact he thinks the female judge is “waging a war against all men.” According to articles, when Brown was convicted, he had a long history of [alleged] physical and sexual assaults against women, mostly intimate partners. I’d say it’s Brown who has been waging a war on women.

Brown has been bitter since he left football and probably will never change. He deserved the sentence he received and needs to take it like a man and learn a lesson. It’s time he gets over himself and gets on with life.
