‘Great’ Economy

Tyco to fire 2,200 people in Menlo Park (Aug. 26). Union Bank to fire 15% of its work force (Aug. 17). The market reaches new highs (Aug. 24). I’m not sure that the rest of us can stand much more of this “great” economy.
