Amazon.com Inc. named Jeffrey Wilke, 33, to head its distribution network, following the resignation of Jimmy Wright. Wilke had been vice president and general manager of AlliedSignal Inc.’s pharmaceutical fine-chemicals unit. Wright, 46, had joined Amazon.com in July 1988 from Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to help the Internet marketer expand its distribution network.
