Temple Beth Shalom invites the county’s new Jewish residents to its High Holy Day services, beginning with a Selichot service at 8:30 tonight. Erev Rosh Hashana services will take place at 7 and 9 p.m. Friday; Rosh Hashana services are scheduled for 9 and 11 a.m. Sept. 11. Second day Rosh Hashana services will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 12, followed by a Tashlich service and picnic at 1:30 p.m. at Eisenhower Park in Orange. Temple Beth Emet’s High Holy Day schedule will begin with Rosh Hashana services at 8 p.m. Friday and at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 11 and 12. Performances

The Arsis Bell Choir of Tallinn, Estonia, will be in concert at 7 tonight at Presbyterian Church of the Master. The choir will also perform during worship services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
