Irene Brown is one angry millionaire.

Three years ago, she hit the Wisconsin Megabucks lottery, entitling her to $1 million over 25 payments.

Brown sued, alleging lottery ads didn’t state that payments would be made annually, not monthly.

She said she plans to appeal Thursday’s ruling by a state appeals court upholding the dismissal of her lawsuit. The appellate court ruled that the lottery’s rules are clear and that players are presumed to be familiar with them.

Brown said she wouldn’t have played had she known she’d become a millionaire so gradually.

“I would have spent my money in Vegas like I always did,” she said. “There, when you win, they pay you right now.”
