ORANGE COUNTY NEWSMAKERS : ZLand.com Names VP, Account Manager

* Peter Dunworth has been named vice president, integrated solutions for ZLand.com in Aliso Viejo. He had been chief technology officer for ZLand.com from 1995 to 1996, and was one of three founders. He rejoined the company from Banyan Systems Inc., where he was solutions architect. In addition, Scott A. Lucas has joined the company as a senior account manager in the marketing and sales group. His territory includes portions of Orange and San Diego counties. Lucas was formerly with Cardiff Software in San Marcos, where he was regional account manager, overseeing sales territories in California, Nevada and Hawaii.

* Dwayne M. Walker has been elected to the board of directors of Micro General Corp. in Santa Ana. Walker has been president and chief executive of ShopNow.com Inc. since 1996 and prior to that served as chairman of the board.

* Jerry Holdner Jr. has been named vice president of market research for Voit Commercial Brokerage in Anaheim. He joined the company from Grubb & Ellis, where he managed research services for the Orange County area.

* Michael Leigh, Richard Cortese and Martin Hewett have joined the board of directors of eNABLE Solutions, an Irvine software company. Leigh is the founder and president of Technology MarketForce Inc. Cortese has been chief executive of Racotek Inc. Sweda Inc. and Alpha Microsystems. His consulting firm, RMB Associates, helps computing companies manage periods of rapid growth and prepare for initial public offerings. Hewett is a partner at the executive search and consulting firm of McCray, Shriver, Eckdahl & Associates Inc.

* Edward L. Yingling has joined Haskell & White LLP in Newport Beach to establish a property tax services group. He was formerly director of property tax for Ultamar Inc., a petroleum company, property tax manager for the Walt Disney Co. and a senior appeals deputy for the Orange County assessor’s office.

* Doug Fabbri has been appointed senior construction loan consultant for residential construction lending by Washington Mutual in its Laguna Hills loan center. During his 17-year career, Fabbri has held real estate lending positions at several Orange County banks.

* Gary Peto has joined Sage Software Inc. in Irvine as director of field sales. Peto was the founder of Dallas-based MicroAccounting Solutions, which he later sold to Brunswick Integrated Computers.

* Paul F. LeFort has been added to the board of directors of the TriZetto Group in Newport Beach. LeFort is chief information officer of United HealthCare Corp.
