Cable Fees

My TV cable company just raised my rate by 95 cents a month. It has been doing this gradually for years now and it just infuriates me. The problem is, we’re confined to one server. Why isn’t the cable industry open to competition? What does it take to restore sanity to that industry?

Our legislators must be a bunch of idiots to let this happen. We’re at the mercy of the government, on the one hand, that regulates cable TV and the owners who summarily raise the ante with impunity.
