OroAmerica Reports Lower 4th-Quarter Earnings

OroAmerica Inc. in Burbank reported net income for the fourth quarter ended Jan. 28 of $868,000, down from $2.4 million for the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year. Revenues dipped to $2.2 million from $2.6 million. For the year ended Jan. 28, the company reported net income of $3.4 million, down from $6.5 million. Revenues rose slightly to $169.5 million from $169.2 million. The results reflect a loss from the company’s discontinued cigar business.
