Star Gate 2000, Golden West College’s annual fashion show hosted by the college’s supporters, will be held at Waterfront Hilton Beach Resort, 21100 Pacific Coast Highway, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. In addition to the fashion show, the event will include a silent auction and luncheon.

Proceeds will go toward scholarships for students at local high schools and Golden West College.

According to spokesman Marc Posner, the Golden West College patrons have given more than $57,500 in scholarships over the years.
