Ivory
Re “Ivory Stash Driving Debate,” April 7: With museums around the world craving ivory tusks, wouldn’t it pay the African nations to sell them to museums rather than to Japan, which will in turn sell ivory to the world in trinkets, etc. Africa and the world would benefit by putting the tusks in museums for the world to see for generations to come, rather than making an arm bracelet or a trinket hanging from someone’s neck.
