SAN CLEMENTE
The restoration of Casa Romantica, the rehabilitation of the city’s beaches, railroad corridor safety and downtown revitalization are among the priority projects that will be placed on the city’s budget this year.
The City Council made those decisions during a special meeting Wednesday at the San Clemente Community Center. Casa Romantica topped the council’s list.
The city is expected to take over Casa Romantica--the home of city founder Ole Hanson and a popular wedding site--at the end of the month.
