LAKE FOREST

The City Council could hire an interim city clerk Tuesday following the resignation of former City Clerk Jeri Stately last month.

Stately, who became Lake Forest’s first city clerk when the city incorporated in 1991, accepted an offer to serve as Irvine’s city clerk.

The council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 23161 Lake Center Drive.
