Hollywood Stock Exchange Names CEO

Longtime Sony TV executive Andrew J. Kaplan was named chief executive of Hollywood Stock Exchange, an entertainment Web site that lets visitors trade mock shares in celebrities, films and music. Michael Burns and Max Keiser will remain co-chairmen of the company. Kaplan’s most recent position at Sony was executive vice president of its Columbia TriStar Television Group.

Marinus N. Henny has been named chief financial officer of Seagram’s Universal Music Group, the largest record conglomerate in the world. Henny was hired by Universal after 12 years at Sony Corp. of America, where he was chief financial officer and executive vice president. Prior to joining Sony, Henny was a partner at accounting firm Price Waterhouse.

Ian Leicht has been named chief technology officer of MXG Media Inc., a Manhattan Beach-based multimedia company for teen girls. Leicht formerly was chief technology officer of La Jolla-based e-commerce incubator Inspired Arts.

Rebecca Martinez and Kevin Newman have joined the Marina del Rey offices of Cunningham Group architects. Martinez, formerly a vice president at CenterLinq, has been named director of marketing in charge of new- business development. Newman, a veteran project manager, will serve as project manager on Cunningham’s Hotel D’Orsay project in Long Beach.

California Federal Bank has appointed Gary Hansen first vice president responsible for managing Cal Fed’s Southern California launch into commercial/wholesale automobile deal finance. Hansen is a former senior vice president at Bank of America, managing its Southern California dealer lending business.
