Four children were chosen for their winning designs in the 2000 Villa Park Library Bookmark Contest. Winning entries chosen by Friends of the Library include Villa Park Elementary second-grader Nicole Applebaum, Independence Christian School third-grader Ann-Margaret Tomocik, Villa Park Elementary fifth-grader Dana Applebaum and Lutheran High School ninth-grader Michella Tomocik.
