LA HABRA
Residents concerned about the number of liquor stores in the city and youths’ exposure to them will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Brooklake Apartments clubhouse, 1401 S. Harbor Blvd.
Residents and a representative of the Communities in Prevention-North program will discuss concerns about the proposed construction of an AM/PM Arco gas station, 1401 E. Lambert Road.
The facility might sell packaged beer and liquor within 1,000 feet of Sonora High School, said Audi Contreras, community organizer with the prevention program.
