Suffering from a knee injury he incurred during rehearsals for Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann,” tenor Vinson Cole withdrew after singing the first act of the opera Thursday at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa. Adam Klein stepped in for the rest of the performance. An Opera Pacific spokesperson said Cole is expected to sing tonight at 8, as scheduled. Klein will sing the Sunday matinee, as originally announced. Information: (714) 556-2787.
