Entrepreneur.com, a popular online small-business site, has significantly bulked up its Internet offerings to help entrepreneurs build their businesses.

As part of its redesign, Entrepreneur.com has tapped 33 industry experts, including Azriela Jaffe, coauthor of eight books, including “Starting From No: Ten Strategies to Overcome Your Fear of Rejection and Succeed in Business,” and attorney Steven D. Strauss, author of “The Unofficial Guide to Home-Based Businesses.” The specialists host online chats, author weekly columns and answer e-mails about small business issues, ranging from marketing strategies to writing a business plan for a new company.

The Entrepreneur.com Web site also has a new service that allows small business owners to request bids from other businesses for goods and services.

Entrepreneur.com, which recently named former Taco Bell executive Thomas E. Davin as its chief executive, is a subsidiary of Entrepreneur Media Inc. in Irvine, publisher of Entrepreneur and Business Start-Up magazines.

The site, which makes money through advertisements and online sales, is free to the public.
