NowDocs.com Raises Additional Financing

NowDocs.com Inc., an Aliso Viejo company that delivers documents within two hours, said Monday that it has raised $31 million in second-round financing, with large investments from two major companies.
The company said in a news release that the Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and affiliates provided the largest amount and that Staples Inc. made an investment.
NowDocs said it will use the investment to expand its service offerings and facilities.
Other new investors include Pacific Life Insurance Co. in Newport Beach, and Spinnaker Venture, a San Francisco venture firm involved in Latin America. Both of NowDocs’ first-round investors, ComVentures in Menlo Park, and Mission Ventures in San Diego, also are participating in this round.
