Active Adult Communities Gets New General Manager

Ralph Spargo has joined Standard Pacific Corp. as general manager of its subsidiary, Standard Pacific Active Adult Communities Inc. in Irvine. He has previously held senior management positions in land and project development, acquisition, planning and project management for such companies as Richmond American Homes, Pacific Gateway Homes, Western National Group, Akins Development and Irvine Pacific Development Co.

Ethan Winner has joined LeadersOnline in Irvine, a subsidiary of Heidrick & Struggles, as chief marketing officer. Winner had been with Futurestep, the Internet-based recruiting company of Korn/Ferry International Inc.

Bill Lawrence has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Caliber Collision Centers in Irvine. Lawrence joined Caliber in 1998 as senior vice president. Before that, he was with Allstate Insurance for 28 years.

Christian Kim is the new director of sales for TechnologyOBX in Lake Forest. He was formerly with Storage Technology, a storage information provider based in Louisville, Colo.
