Course for Novice Home Buyers Offered

A program to prepare entry-level buyers for the responsibilities of homeownership will be held Saturday at the Area Housing Authority offices, 1400 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Sponsored by the Housing Authority of Ventura County, the city of Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills-based Pacific Partners Mortgage Corp., the “School of Homebuying” course, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will focus on a down payment grant program designed for low- to moderate-income families.
