Programs Combat Adult Illiteracy

Congratulations for drawing attention to the direct link between health care and literacy through “Illiteracy Can Be Hazardous to Your Health” (July 31). The problems cited are serious, but the good news is that hundreds of adult literacy programs in Southern California want to help. More than 700 literacy program sites are listed at https://www.literacynetwork.org.
