Brady Act

Share

I note with amusement the recent AMA research (Aug. 2) on the effect of the Brady Act, indicating that gun control has no effect on murder and suicide. What amused me is that the AMA, even given this strong evidence on the failure of the Brady law, still supports gun control. I wonder how often the AMA backs a drug that failed a field test? In this case the “drug” was the Brady bill, yet the AMA is recommending bigger doses of this failed medicine. Where is the scientific method, doctors?
