Jagiello Goes to California Software

Larry Jagiello has been appointed chief financial officer of California Software Corp. in Irvine. Before joining the company, Jagiello was chief financial officer for WWW.COM Inc., an Internet music-application service provider in Irvine, and vice president of finance for Epoch Networks Inc.

* Joe Cowan has been appointed president and chief executive of Wonderware Corp. in Irvine, an operating unit of the Invensys Industrial Software and Services division. He succeeds Roy H. Slavin, chief executive since 1995. Slavin will continue in a consulting capacity until April. Cowan, who joined Wonderware in 1993, had been executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer.

* James R. Talevich has been named vice president and chief financial officer of I-Flow Corp. in Lake Forest. He replaces Gayle L. Arnold, who resigned last month to devote more time to her family. Talevich was formerly chief financial officer of Gish Biomedical Inc. He has also been chief financial officer for Tectrix Fitness Equipment Inc. and controller for Shiley Inc., a subsidiary of Pfizer Inc.

* Jane Wells is the new director of print and traffic services at the Newport Beach advertising agency of Lawrence, Mayo & Ponder. She was formerly print production manager at Bates USA Advertising in Irvine and a print sales representative at Precision Offset in Irvine.

* Barrington Atkinson has been appointed channel sales manager for Dane-Elec Corp. in Irvine. He previously was strategic account manager with Southland Microsystems and a divisional manager at Ideal Hardware U.K.

* Julian Rice has joined Trinity Golf in Tustin as vice president of shareholder relations. Rice formerly worked in investor relations for Commonwealth Energy in Tustin.

* Robert J. Syverson has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer at Uniloc.com in Huntington Beach. He had been chief financial officer for a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.

* Minal Amin has been named to the newly created position of vice president of financial planning and analysis at Alliance Imaging Inc. in Anaheim. Amin joined Mobile Technology Inc. in 1991 as manager of financial planning. Mobile Technology was acquired by Alliance Imaging in 1998. Amin served there as director of financial planning. In addition, Scott Heck has been named vice president of business development, also a new position at Alliance. Heck most recently was employed at Disney, assisting the Walt Disney Internet Group. Before that, Heck was vice president, investment review, for Aurora Capital Group.

* David Kuhn has joined the St. Paul Companies as regional president for California, based in Brea. Before joining the company, he was vice president and district manager for Hartford Specialty, overseeing its Western region operations, which included four branch offices in California.

* Stanley D. Kirst Jr. has been appointed vice president of secondary marketing at Century National Mortgage in Irvine. He held similar positions with City Mortgage Services, Marina Mortgage and Brooksamerica Mortgage Corp.

* Andrea Bolch has been named senior vice president, North America, for Australia-New Zealand Direct Line in Santa Ana. She had been vice president, commercial, and managed the commercial and pricing departments. Bolch joined the company in 1992 as Australian commercial director.
