Biomerica Unveils Cancer-Ulcer Test

Biomerica Inc. said it has developed a test that helps detect and monitor the presence of peptic ulcers and stomach cancer.
The Newport Beach medical technology company said the test measures the amounts of Pepsinogen-1 present in human serum, which can mark the presence of a peptic ulcer. The test can also be used to measure the effectiveness of treatments.
