Van Gilder a V.P. for Marie Callender’s

Thomas F. Van Gilder has been appointed vice president of operations support for Marie Callender’s Pie Shops Inc. in Orange. Van Gilder joined the company in 1989 as general manager for the Marina del Rey restaurant. Since then he has been area supervisor, director of advertising, new store opening supervisor, director of operations planning and research, and director of the real estate department.

* James D. Haberlen has been named Southern California regional manager for Environmental Data Resources Inc. Haberlen, who is based in Costa Mesa, had been a senior account executive at the company.

* Bradley Keil has joined the law firm of Swedelson & Gottlieb in Newport Beach as director of client services. He was formerly a community manager and law firm marketing director.

* Jennifer McLean has been named to the newly created position of vice president, West Coast technology and e-marketing for Stanton Crenshaw Communications in Huntington Beach. She was previously a minority partner at New Venture Communications, a Portland-based high-tech public relations firm.

* David Perl has been named vice president of marketing for Uniloc.com in Huntington Beach. He was formerly product operations line manager at Intuit Inc. and operations manager for Nike’s headwear, bags and accessories division in Irvine.

* R. Gabriel Aguirre has been appointed vice president and international trade finance officer at Eldorado Bank in Laguna Hills. Before joining the bank, he was a sales manager for Serfin Funds Transfer Inc.

* Brad Smith has been elected president of the Southern California chapter of the International Interior Design Assn. Smith is interior design director at Taylor & Associates Architects in Newport Beach.

* George C. Loeffler has joined Scottrade/Scottsdale Securities to open and manage the new Laguna Hills office. He was formerly an investment specialist with US Bancorp/Piper Jaffray in Portland, Ore.
