“I had a ’98 Stag’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc ‘Rancho Chimiles.’ That area is a little colder than the Napa Valley, and tends to make a brighter, less grassy Sauvignon Blanc. We had it before our Thanksgiving meal. It was really nice, and coming from me--a known Sauvignon Blanc hater--that says a lot.”
