Albright Lip-Syncs, Dances in TV Spot

A new television commercial from the United Nations that highlights the success stories of refugees features Czech-born Secretary of State Madeleine Albright dancing and lip-syncing in a grocery store to Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.” The Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees released the commercial in Geneva as the agency marked its 50th anniversary. The 60-second spot stars some well-known refugees, including Sudanese-born model Alek Wek and German-born sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer.
