The “Bob ‘N Weave” was an expensive celebration dance for eight St. Louis Rams, who were fined a total of $90,000 Thursday by the NFL.

Wide receivers Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt, repeat offenders this season, were fined $20,000 each for violating the rule against “prolonged, excessive or premeditated demonstrations” during the Rams’ 40-29 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Tight end Roland Williams, also a repeater, was fined $15,000.

Running back Marshall Faulk and tight end Ernie Conwell were fined $10,000 each, and offensive guard Tom Nutten and running backs Justin Watson and James Hodgins were fined $5,000 apiece.

Quarterback Kurt Warner plans to pick up the tab, although he will have to find a way around league rules to do it. Fines are deducted from players’ paychecks.

The league also fined three Indianapolis players $5,000 each for excessive celebrations during Monday night’s victory over Buffalo--Mustafah Muhammad, Jeff Burris and Jason Belser.

Yahoo! Inc. said it was taking advertisements for gambling-related sites off its football Web pages in order to preserve its relationship with the NFL.

Yahoo! presents radio broadcasts of games in a partnership that began in October. The ads in question, for online casinos and sites that offer tips to sports bettors, were not up when the partnership was announced, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said. He said league officials found out about the ads last week.

Tonya Antonucci, Yahoo! Sports’ director of production, said gambling ads were being moved to pages that had no NFL logos or content generated by the league.
