Teacher Pay

I truly enjoy my career as a teacher but am disgusted that teachers have such constant financial problems. I wonder how long these new teachers can tolerate their reduced circumstances, despite their commitment and the rewards. Isn’t something wrong with a system that expects teachers to be honest and dedicated and yet acknowledges that they are not paid adequately? Isn’t it time to do something about this?
